
With Affirmative Art people draw their dreams – what they truly want in life – and create action steps to empower their dreams.
The project started in 2012. Eirik Jarl Trondsen was living in Africa at the time and saw that Affirmative Art could be a powerful tool for development, as art is a universal language, which does not require literacy, and is cheap and available to all.

A gallery of EAST AFRICA TOUR 2019

This Affirmative Art tour especially cater for the needs of youth in East Africa. It gives youth the opportunity to explore what they want with life and how to achieve it. Affirmative Art has a decade of experience in increasing awareness and empowering dreams.
Time frame: November 17 – December 23, 2019
Route: Starting in Goma (DRC), through Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya eventually ending on Funzi Island (on the Indian Ocean) using the “Dream machine”.
Purpose: Empower 400+ dreams from a wide variety of participants, including the deaf, albinos, students, artists, businessmen and many more.
